Homemade Lemonade

 

 

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • Handful fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, dissolve ¾ cup sugar in 1 cup of water. Make sure the sugar has completely dissolved before removing from heat.
  2. Squeeze or juice enough lemons (approx 6) to make 1 cup of lemon juice.
  3. Pour into a large jug with the sugar water and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well and garnish with the sliced lemon, fresh mint leaves and ice cubes.
